Laura has been in healthcare for over 15 years but began her nursing career in 2011, working primarily in women’s health and pediatrics. In her time at Primary Children's Hospital, she worked as a circulator in the endoscopy department where she gained a fundamental background in procedural GI care. As a member of the American College of Gastroenterologists, she attends annual classes and conferences to continue learning and keep up with current evidence-based care standards. When not caring for her patients at the University of Utah, she enjoys traveling around the U.S. and the world, kayaking, playing pickleball and working in her yard and garden. She is an avid baseball fan as well and tries to catch as many games in person as she can. Go Dodgers!

She worked hand and hand with me to figure out what I needed. Felt super comfortable with her to discuss things that could be awkward to talk about. Really showed she cared about what I needed. My life has changed and I am so thankful.
