Jonathan G. Sawicki, MD, MSCI

  • Dr. Jonathan Sawicki is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics in the Divisions of Pediatric Hospital Medicine and General Medicine at the University of Utah and works as a hospitalist in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Hospital. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and completed residency in combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. While at Baystate, he received an Excellence in Teaching Award from the third year medical student class and the Ed Reiter Teaching Award for best teacher as voted by his fellow residents. Dr. Sawicki’s clinical interests include the education of medical students and residents as well as diagnostic performance and improvement. His research interests include curriculum development and the identification of and response to deteriorating patients in the hospital.
