  • Dr. Rets is an assistant professor of pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He received his MD and PhD at Perm State Academy of Medicine in Russia. He served as an anatomical and clinical pathology resident at State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn and a hematopathology fellow at the University of Utah School of Medicine. Dr. Rets is board certified in hematopathology, anatomic pathology, and clinical pathology. He is also a member of several professional societies, including the College of American Pathologists and the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Dr. Rets’ professional interests include red blood cell disorders, non-neoplastic hematology, and myeloproliferative neoplasms.
