David Chaulk, MD, MPH is Canadian board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine (FRCPC) and is board-eligible in the US. He has completed a Master of Public Health degree in health policy and management from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) and Certified in Medical Quality (CMQ). Dr. Chaulk serves as associate Chief Medical Officer for Intermountain Primary Children’s Hospital’s Salt Lake City campus and the Chief Quality Officer.
David is currently a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. His clinical interests include patient safety, quality measurement and quality improvement, patient experience as well as DEI and social determinants of health. Academically, David’s interests include organizational leadership, change management, quality improvement and healthcare delivery.
