Dr. Laura Chelu is one of the best OBGY I met in US ! She is amazing as a person , she always listens careful to your needs as a patient and she always provides the best ! From my first appt with Laura Chelu, MD has been positive regarding her personal charm as well as medical knowledge of reason i desired to see her as a physician. I do need help to get RXs filled. Im not sure if it is the Express Script Pharmacy that is preventing the process or what is actually causing the delay to fill RXs.. if Dr. Chelu will put an Rx in at the UofUniv Pharmacy in Farmington, Ill use my own money to purchase RXs (2ea). Thanks.

I did not expect this appointment to go well as my prior experience with other providers has not been good within U of U. I was shocked at how many questions she asked and how she even brought things up (like genetic testing) that I didn't even think about.

Dr Chelu is very kind and so knowledgeable. I'm having a procedure done soon she explained everything in great detail.

During this appointment the MA asked if I was comfortable with a Medical Student being present during the appointment, and let me know I would not need a pelvic exam. I thought it was strange that I wasn't having a pelvic exam, but didn't think much of it. I told the MA it was OK for the medical student to be present. When Dr. Chelu and the medical student arrived I was informed I would actually be having a pelvic exam. What I did not realize was that it would be the medical student performing the exam. By the time I realized this, I felt like it was too late to speak up. I had never said I was comfortable with the medical student performing the exam and at the end of the day, this bothered me more than the exam being performed by a student.

I felt incredibly cared for in a way I haven't experienced before.

Dr. Chelu showed me the utmost compassion and concern for my well-being. I felt heard, and she fully explained all parts of the exam and answered every question I had. She is a quality physician and a truly kind human being. I would recommend her to anyone.

Go in for a consult, end up liking her more than I thought. I appreciate the honesty and support. I haven't been able to find a good OB for a decade.

I would not recommend this provider to anyone. I didn't feel listened to and while I did get one or two questions in, I don't feel like this provider cared about me or cared about listening to me. I felt she rushed to get me in and out as soon as possible so I don't feel like I had the space to ask the questions I wanted to. I don't feel like she explained any of the risks or benefits well about my choice of birth control. It was moreso "that's what you want? Okay, let's do that, bye". I felt uncomfortable because of this.

Such a good experience! She truly made me feel cared for and talk through everything with me. I didn't know how much I could enjoy a specific doctor like I do her.
