Dr. McMillan refuses to listen to what I want regarding my choice for medication for my psoriatic arthritis. For some reason, he seems to ridicule any suggestions I make and makes me feel as though I don't know what I'm talking about my own experience with my disease. I'm very concerned about remarks he made about people my age. His remarks were very concerning to me, as it seemed as if I am not valued as a patient.

Dr. McMillan is very knowledgeable, however, often it feels like he wants to talk over me instead of listening to my concerns. Yes, he is the doctor, but I have had this condition for decades and I am an educated patient. I wish he would slow down a little and listen. It's like he already has a plan in mind before he hears what I have to say. I do appreciate his willingness to think outside the box, though. Other doctors in the same department have not been willing to do that to help me.
