Dr. Glotzbach cares for critically ill children with congenital and acquired heart disease. She is the Co-director of the Heart Center Neurodevelopmental Program (HCNP) which focuses on acute and longitudinal developmental surveillance, evaluation and intervention for children with congenital heart disease (CHD). Through her clinical practices, she also devotes attention to the education of medical students, residents and fellows in the areas of cardiology and critical care medicine. Her research and quality improvement projects focus on modifiable factors of long term neurodevelopmental outcomes in CHD.

As an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah, Dr. Glotzbach’s is engaged in research to identify and modify clinical parameters associated long term neurodevelopmental outcomes and health related quality of life for children with congenital and acquired heart disease.
