Dr. Barker was amazing in helping me with my anxiety which was very high for this procedure. He was very sweet the second he walked in the room. His voice was very calming. He talked to me through the whole procedure telling me everything he was doing and that helped me immensely! He did an excellent job! He was very pleasant and patient!! Thank you Dr. Barker! You are amazing!

Dr. Barker was so generous and kind. I was seeing a different Dr. For some intense pain. When they realized they couldn't help me, they reached out to Dr. Barker's office. Dr. Barker was on his lunch break and told them he could fit me in. With a small procedure, I was pain free. It was so kind of Dr. Barker to give up his lunch break to take care of me.

Dr. Barker helped me understand the risks and benefits of the surgical procedure. He accommodated my desire to have the surgery as soon as possible.

Dr. Barker has a very good "bed-side" manner. His personality, while staying professional, aided in putting my mind completely at ease. His expertise as a physician was evident as he listened intently, & then he completely & clearly answered questions regarding my upcoming surgeries. After his initial exam, he wanted me to have a contrast CT scan to verify his diagnosis. Upon returning to his office after the CT, he looked at the scan results & gave his recommendations. Then, after discussing options, he let me determine how I was going to proceed. During his post-op evaluation, he gave me a clean bill of health and said I was healing very well. Everything he has done inspires confidence and has made me feel I could trust his recommendations & abilities. There is nothing about him that I would change!

I am glad he can help me out and get me in and taken care of and out the same day. He is explaining things step by step as we went through my appointment I am glad he can help me get the help I need.

Dr. Barker is exceptional. He had previously implanted a port for my cancer treatments. I was very happy with the result and felt he was a very caring and professional surgeon. I recently needed a general surgeon again, so Dr. Barker was my first choice. I was experiencing pain, so the office got me right in. Dr. Barker was very caring, compassionate and professional as he listened to my concerns. He spent considerable time with me and gave me great counsel. He didn't make me feel rushed and answered all my questions. I had questions answered that other doctors couldn't give me answers to. I left his office feeling very relieved and grateful to this wonderful caring man. I would highly recommend Dr. Barker as my experiences with him have been very positive!
