Dr. Elizabeth Keating, MD, MSPH completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Notre Dame. She received her medical degree from the Mayo School of Medicine, completed her Pediatrics and Global Child Health residency at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital, and completed her Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Global Health fellowship at the University of Utah/Primary Children’s Hospital. She completed a Masters of Science in Public Health at the University of Utah. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She completed a Fogarty Global Health Fellowship funded by the NIH studying pediatric injuries in Moshi, Tanzania.
Dr. Keating is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah. She is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She is the Program Director for the Pediatric Emergency Medicine-Global Health fellowship track. Her specific clinical and academic interests are in global pediatric injuries, the provision of acute care for children in resource-limited settings, reciprocal and ethical global health education, and health disparities. She sees patients in the Emergency Department and Rapid Treatment Unit at Primary Children’s Hospital.
