Benjamin Drum, MD, PhD

  • Benjamin Drum, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine and Adjunct Professor in Pediatrics at the University of Utah Hospital. As a hospitalist in internal medicine and pediatrics, his research interests include medical education, hospitalist ultrasound, and medical humanities.

    He holds a PhD Physiology & Biophysics from the University of Washington and authored several publications on topics in cardiac physiology. He also has published on projects regarding curriculum development for medical residents and medical residency selection.

    He received his MD and PhD from the University of Washington. He completed his residency including chief residency in Internal Medicine-Pediatrics from the University of Utah.
