Ali Gerner, PA-C, MSGH, is a certified physician assistant in the Burn Outpatient Clinic and Burn ICU at University of Utah Health specializing in burn trauma critical care including inpatient and outpatient management of patients with thermal, electrical, and cold injuries such as frostbite
Ali attended Saint Mary's College for her undergraduate education, where she studied molecular cell biology, and went on to study global health at the University of Notre Dame for her first master's degree. She ultimately decided to pursue a career in medicine and received her second master's degree from the University of Utah in physician assistant studies.
Through all of her higher education programs, Ali conducted and published scientific research, receiving honors and distinctions for each research project.
When not caring for patients, Ali enjoys spending time with her husband and pets, cooking, and skiing.
