  • Matt Pearce, MD, MSCI is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Utah. He received his bachelor's degree from Vassar College, his Master of Science in Clinical Investigation degree from the University of Utah, and his medical degree from Mercer University. He completed his residency training in Pediatrics at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, NC, where he also served as a Chief Resident. He then completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Utah. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine.

    Dr. Pearce practices as a pediatric hospitalist at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City and Lehi. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Pearce is a Learning Community Coach at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is also the director of the Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, and Health Care Value Curriculum for the pediatric residency program, and he serves on various committees in the pediatric residency program.
