John L. Colquitt,

Dr. Colquitt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky then a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital. He has advanced training in fetal, transthoracic, and transesophageal echocardiography. He was on the faculty at Texas Children’s Hospital prior to joining the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Utah in 2021. Dr. Colquitt is board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.
He is the associate director of the echocardiography laboratory and an associate program director for the pediatric cardiology fellowship. His clinical practice includes general outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology and fetal cardiology. His research interests include the use of non-invasive imaging to improve clinical prediction and patient outcomes.
