Nate earned his B.S. in Neuroscience from Temple University and his M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies from Jefferson University, where upon graduation he was inducted into the prestigious national physician assistant honor society, Pi Alpha. He is originally from Pennsylvania and lived in Philadelphia for nearly a decade before migrating west. He is thrilled to be in Salt Lake, where he is beyond excited to snowboard and explore beautiful Utah! Prior to becoming a PA, Nate worked in a variety of settings as an EMT, including 911 emergency medical services, transport, and inpatient critical care. He is proud to be a PA and work alongside so many talented and passionate colleagues at Huntsman. Nate found his niche when he learned about palliative care, a specialty that he feels is a harmonious marriage of the science of medicine and the art of communication. He is honored to care for people at such challenging times in their lives. Palliative care resonates with Nate because it is so deeply human, which means he has the responsibility and the privilege of learning more about his patients beyond just their medical issues in order to provide them with truly holistic care.
