Heidi A Carter APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner in Pediatric Pulmonology. Heidi graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2002. She worked as a registered nurse in adult care for 1 year, then transitioned to pediatric critical care where she spent the next 18 years working as an RN in the Pediatric and Cardiac Intensive Care Units at Primary Children’s Hospital. In December of 2020, she graduated from Maryville University with a Master of Science in Nursing and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner license. Heidi works primarily with infants and children requiring tracheostomy and chronic ventilation.
