Hina Jhawer, MD CCFP is a family medicine physician practising full time at the Sugarhouse Health Center.
She is originally from Ontario, Canada where she did her undergraduate degree in Community Health Sciences at Brock University with a focus on developing sustainable health programs for the underserved populations. Her interest in community health led her to attend medical school at American University of Integrative Sciences after which she trained in Family Medicine at the University of Western Ontario with a focus on rural health.
Her areas of interest include community-oriented primary care, refugee health, mental health and LGBTQ+ care.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, baking and playing tennis.
