  • Dr. Satvik Ramakrishna, M.D. is an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco. He subsequently completed his Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Echocardiography fellowships at the University of California, San Francisco, where he also served as Chief Fellow.

    Dr. Ramakrishna has a wide clinical practice in the care of heart disease, with particular interests in the management of complex valvular heart disease, structural echocardiography, and cardiovascular prevention. He is also interested in medical education and is involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.     Dr. Ramakrishna is very professional, and his expertise and insight have been absolutely invaluable. He really listens, and even makes the time to carefully review your health information prior to the appointment.     Very good cardiology examination, however, insurance coverage was inconsistant and inaccurate.
