I loved that Ethan Snyder listened to my concerns and was very reassuring in all aspects of my health. I am very grateful that he was able to figure out what was wrong and how to go about improving my health! Ethan Snyder is very respectful and was able to make everything easily understandable!

Make eye contact with your patient. Do not talk t computer screen. Have your assistant help with charting. When I spoke to you I felt like you were more interested in screen than me. When giving meds or orders, explain a little more. I didn't feel like you cared at all. You told me a little about tests, but where you may go from there.I walked out of there feeling like I was just just person that you could care less about. You just preformed your duties and that was it. I have so much abdominal pain and as I tried to show you, you hardly took your eyes off that darn computer screen. I felt NO connection t you!!!

Ethan is very thorough and has a lot of knowledge and explains the situation so that you understand. He also listens to you and includes you in making the decision of what to do next

Snyder seemed unprepared for my follow-up visit regarding the findings from my endoscopy and colonoscopy. After receiving the report a couple of days later, I scheduled the appointment because I was anxious about what I had read. When he entered the room, it appeared he hadn't reviewed the report until that moment. Despite my repeated questions about the results, the only advice he offered was to "stay away from spicy food and tomato sauce" and to take a prescribed medication. I was desperate to understand how I could have developed a hernia and polyp, especially after his initial denial of my having EOE during my first visit. He didn't seem concerned about my well-being or how I felt about the news. Even if the findings weren't serious, he never made an effort to reassure me. Every time I asked a question, he dodged it.

Like I already said, He was concerned and discussed my case freely. He was courteous and took the time I needed to reassure me that we could find answers.

Dr Snyder is very understating and allows questions to be answered to determine what is the best treatment for me. I would recommend him to others! Thank you Dr Snyder.

Prior to seeing Ethan, I've unfortunately had some frustrating and contentious interactions w/ other providers. I truly felt like Ethan was concerned with hearing my thoughts on what has happened over the last 2-3 years. He listened. Considered my thoughts and his med recommendation has helped. And a colonoscopy is a logical next step. Bravo! : )

Dr Snyder was great, only frustrating thing is the EGD & Colonoscopy needed to continue care is booked out until April. I just got out of the UofU hospital from being impatient Jan 9-Jan 16, & need these two test done so the health issue doesn't return. I was seen 4-5 times in the ER before even being admitted for the serious health issue, now have to wait until April is more than frustrating. I can almost guarantee the health issue will return if I end up having to wait until April. Worse symptoms are already showing up but nothing we can do until the EGD and colonoscopy are done. Other than that Dr Snyder was been more help than I have gotten when this started Dec 9, 2023. I also still love the University & realize their are other people worse off but their has got to be other available options for more emergent situations.

Dr Snyder really cares about his patients and takes time to explain issues and give you options then you make the decision what you want to do. I would recommend him to friends and family.

I do not feel that PA Snyder listened to me about problems I had with my EGD scope I had 4 weeks earlier. He just kept saying they would repeat it at 3 months. My throat has been in serious pain.

PA Snyder was very nice, but he spent so much time typing on his computer that I feel he didn't really listen to me. I realize he was thrown into having me as a patient since Dr. Boynton retired. He kept saying that my symptoms were beyond his qualifications and I should have seen a specialist. I kept telling him that the soonest I could get an appt was 7 months away. I then saw on his notes that he cc'd Dr. Boynton, even after I told him several times she retired. He kept saying that he would elevate everything I was telling him to Dr. Fang. I was just frustrated.

Dr. Lowell was very quiet, but that allowed me to speak about my reasoning for visiting. He also sought outside guidance from the other doctor there. He listened to each thing I said and I'm sure took excellent notes.
