  • Dr. Underdown received her medical degree from the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, followed by fellowship in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship at the Children’s Hospital Colorado.

    Dr. Underdown is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah School of Medicine in the division of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology. She is a member of the Solid Tumors team at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital, caring for children with sarcomas and other solid tumors. Academically, Dr. Underdown has focused her research on the understanding the immune microenvironment of pediatric osteosarcoma.
