Braxton S. Fukutomi, MD

Braxton Fukutomi, MD is an internist at the Madsen Internal Medicine Clinic. His professional interests include medical education and the management of various musculoskeletal injuries and chronic diseases. He strives to provide evidence-based care with emphasis on treating each interaction as a partnership between himself and his patients to provide care that aligns best with each patient’s individual values.

Dr. Fukutomi received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hawaii and completed his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine. He then completed his Internal Medicine training at the Kaiser Permanente Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program. In the past, Dr. Fukutomi served as teaching faculty at the Kaiser Hawaii Internal Medicine Residency Program and as an associate clinical professor with the University of Hawaii School of Medicine. He currently continues his passion for medical education as teaching faculty at the University of Utah School of Medicine Student-Led Clinic.
