Born and raised in a medical family in Southern California, I was interested in family medicine from an early age. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from UC Davis and my medical degree from The Ohio State University. I completed my Family Medicine residency at Long Beach Memorial, where I was lucky to work in a diverse city and see patients of all ages and backgrounds. Following this, I worked in a rural farming community in Central Valley of California. I am thrilled to be joining University of Utah. I love to take care of entire families, from newborns to centenarians. My specific interests include women’s health, office procedures, LGBTQ Care, and mental health. I am undergoing specialized training through UC Irvine in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, with emphasis on ADHD and pediatric anxiety and depression. Outside of medicine, I enjoy indoor soccer, tennis, skiing, and spending time with my husband and my Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Amber.
