  • Adrienne Carey, MD is an Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases at the University of Utah School of Medicine. She is also a member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship team at the University of Utah. Her research interests center on the epidemiology and clinical outcomes of coccidioidomycosis, an infection caused by the endemic fungus Coccidioides. During her free time, Dr. Carey loves to hike, ski and travel.

    Dr. Carey is a caring physician. She cares about the whole patient, physically and personally. I feel 100% percent comfortable under her care and am lucky to have been referred to her. If a serious medical issue should arise, I know she would be able to handle it and would be there for me.
