Dr Lin is an amazing doctor!! She has explained everything about my eye and the surgery that Dr Bernstein needs to do. It was a possibility that after Dr Bernstein finished his last surgery that my old cataract lens would disintegrate and that Dr Lin would need to put a new lens in. She did and with great results. She is friendly and professional.

Dr. Amy Lin is amazing! You can tell she truly cares about her patients. She and her team explained all my cataract surgery options ' from multifocal lenses to nearsighted, farsighted, monovision, and astigmatism correction. I chose a nearsighted lens, and they also fixed my astigmatism at no extra cost. They even guided me through Medicaid options. If you want a doctor who's knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring, Dr. Lin is the one!

Dr. Lin is a very talented provider. I was referred to her to scrape my cornea' my vision in one eye was really fuzzy. With a five minute procedure she converted 20 /50 Vision to 20/20. I wear glasses to correct my vision, but the 20/50 was as good as glasses would do before the 5 minute scraping procedure. She is a great doctor!!!

Excellent eye doctor
Dr Lin was great but her nurse that day didn't communicate well with me. She said that she wasn't able to get a crisp reading of 20/20 like before and walked out of the room. I didn't know if she'd be back, if she was talking with the Dr, only to have Dr Lin come in and not mention anything about my vision. I asked her about it and she told me that my eyes were too dry to get a good result.
I feel very confident with my care with my problems
I was supposed to see Dr. Lin for both an eye exam and a stye. She blew in and only looked at the stye. She said something about a spot at the top of my eye, and I had to redirect her to the actual stye under my eyelid. She had already moved the machine away before I could even say anything. I felt very unheard and frustrated. I definitely could have gone to my primary care physician and had better care and a much lower co pay. Poor uncaring service!

Dr. Amy Lin is an outstanding surgeon and care provider. She has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes in the past month and has restored my vision to where I can see things once again in my life. She always takes the time to listen to my concerns and answers all my questions truthfully even though I don't like to hear the truth sometimes. Ha, Ha. When I first met Amy Lin on my first visit I wasn't very happy with her. She made me feel unimportant and like she had somewhere else she'd rather be. But this time was just the opposite. Even tho I knew she was busy, she still gave me the time I needed.

Learned I have a condition that I was never told about. Very informative.
First time seeing this doctor in place of Dr. Mamalis. She pulled her mask down for me so that I was able to converse with her as needed. I appreciated that. Less stress for me.
Felt like she was just giving me minimal answer and referred me to another doctor. That appointment will be for another couple months, and I waited 2 months to get in to see Dr Lin. Maybe it was the scheduler not understanding me on what I needed an appointment for after seeing another company for a very serious issue that was diagnosed.

It seems like they make too many appointments and just rush people through. Also, no room for changing appointments unless you want to wait another 6 months.

After being seen by the first staff who appeared to be a tech who asked general questions about my current vision condition, I was then seen by a young man in what appears to be a green surgical gown. He did not clearly introduce himself or explain why he is seeeing me as he started to examine my vision. After he left, Dr. Amy Lin came In asking a few more questions about my vision condition in general. I realized this is a teaching hospital and understand sometimes interns/residents and even medical students do a part of examination. I feel that a person other than the assigned phyician conduts the examination, that person should CLEARLY introduce himself/herself so that I do not have to wonder who this person is and why he/she is providing a part of the examination/care. It's awkward to discuss this with my doctor during the examination.

I have been to several dr concerning my problem and this time I felt like I was listened to. I'm hoping after 7 years of trying that improvement is coming my way
They don't know what is causing problems so they have no solutions. It feels like they don't believe I;m having a problem.
I went without my contacts for 2 weeks prior to this consult for refractive surgery, then spend over an hour in the clinic doing testing prior to seeing the doctor - all for her to walk in and tell me that because of my stroke history and visual deficit she'd never do surgery on me. This felt like a huge disrespect to my time, as this is something that could've been done prior to me even coming into the clinic.

The Doctor spent very little time with me and gave very little information. Because my eyes had not changed much since my last exam she said I could keep my current glasses without even looking at them. They had a big scratch in them so even if there had been no change I needed new ones. When I am due for my next eye exam I will choose a different Doctor.
Dr Lin correctly diagnosed my significant vision problem. I believe there may have been an incomplete diagnosis by a previous physician. Dr Lin managed my technically difficult surgical needs with impressive skill and judgement. My experience at the Moran Eye Center was wonderful. I came in to the triage clinic and felt that Doctor Tabin really cared about me and what I was dealing with. She examined my eye thoroughly, found the issue, gave me the best treatment to prevent long term negative issues for my vision, and followed up with me.

Eye exams aren't always the most fun thing you could be doing in a day, but I always smile/laugh thanks to good cheer and humor of these staff members.
I traveled 5 hours for this follow up appointment. I had been told that I have early. macular degeneration. The physician treated this as an appointment for glasses prescription, and did not really discuss macular degeneration at all. I felt as though she was not interested in me or my problems and was rushed.
The combination of the MD resident, a nurse, and Dr. Lin was good. Dr. Lin did not spend much time with me given the work that had been done beforehand, but she seemed to be on top of it all and I have great confidence in her knowledge.

I feel like I was kind of rushed. I'm still confused about what is going on with my vision and don't know why it's getting worse. I think Dr. Lin was also a bit concerned about the virus and is why she was quick with things too. I think it's kinda getting to everyone. I'm going to go back in a month or 2 when things have calmed down for a clearer answer
