Our son had Dr Safi before and Britta Schear was who they had us see after he left. It was a phone appointment since my son was sick so maybe it would have been better in person. She wasn't very nice and didn't explain things good and got really bugged at me for asking questions and a better explanation of things. At least it felt that way. It was really hard. I cried after. It just felt like she could have been nicer especially since she has never met us.

I love that the doctor faced my son and addressed him even though he didn't fully understand what she was saying. I understood what she was saying but her attention was on him. I love that about PCMC.

She listened to our concerns and understood what we were trying to convey. She gave us plenty of options and made the information clear so we understood everything.

PA Britta was very condescending and judgmental of us and questioned our parenting. This was by far THE WORST experience my wife and I have had with any medical professional. She did NOT listen to us when we answered her questions. We know this because she repeated the exact same questions multiple times and did not remember us answering them before. She conducted the exam of our child like it was an interrogation. She showed absolutely no concern. She asked why we hadn't called 911 when the issue with our child first arose. I told her that I am a flight paramedic and firefighter and I wouldn't have transported my child because the issue resolved when he woke. And in my professional opinion, I would recommend a child with a similar issue to follow up with their pediatrician. Which we did once we found out about what was going on! Our pediatrician wasn't concerned enough to have immediate intervention and had us schedule an appointment with a primary Children's specialist. But PA Britta sat there judging, interrogating, and was speaking down to us. She made my wife cry and feel like a horrible mother. We are parents of 4 kids and are caring parents to them. This experience with PA Britta ruined Primary Children's reputation for us. This was not what we were expecting when we scheduled an appointment with a specialist. She should not be working with children. We are so upset by this and this needs to be rectified.
