My care provider originally recommended MOHs surgery, but didn't explain why nor that there was as least another option available. Based on a previous experience with MOHs surgery, I recommended another option which the doctor accepted, Ideally, It would have been nice to have received a his opinion on the differences between the two and why the MOHs was preferred other than to confirm that the option I wanted was a little cheaper. However, I realize I could have and should have asked him questions about the differences between the two as well.

Dr. Bahr went through everything with me thoroughly, explained why he was recommending/prescribing things. He explained that one of my prescriptions may not be covered by my insurance and what to do if it isn't to save me money. Overall I was really impressed with him.

The doctor just told me that MOHs surgery would be best to remove my cancerous growth, but didnt give me any options. Fortunately, from past experience, I knew there was another option which I brought up.
