  • Dr. Nelson received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed training in Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology at the University of Utah and Primary Children’s Hospital. He is board-certified in Child Neurology (Neurology with special qualification in Child Neurology) as well as Clinical Epilepsy. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (clinical track) at the University of Utah. His main interest is working as a clinical pediatric neurologist, including inpatient and outpatient settings.     Dr. Nelson is amazing! At every appt he makes sure to answer all of our questions and that we understand what the plan is before we leave. He talks directly to our daughter and makes sure he answers all of her questions.
