I came to this doctor after my previous doctors moved; the new doctor impressed me on previous appointments that I've assisted my husband to, which is why I came to him.

Dr. Sheffield had two students with him and he had them to listen to my heart because of a murmur in my heart, which was found at stress test I had earlier, so that they could now the sound and understand the problem with a heart valve. I was glad to let them know of something to look for when they come across someone like me.

Dr. Sheffield treated [NAME REMOVED] with respect and compassion, and did not make any changes to her medication of their first meeting which this was. He also explained why changes in medication dosage might be necessary ("If you still had your thyroid, it would change in the amount of hormone it produced as you aged like the rest of your body does, and that's why we may need to take a look at it in the future."). This explanation made sense and one we could get behind as her family trying to support her treatment plan.

The dr's mind Seemed to be elsewhere. I needed him to look in my ears. Ii had to remind him 3 times. When I asked if there was anything else I could take for arthritis because the dr I had before him told me my kidneys were getting bad and layoff the ibuprofen as much as possible. The dr stated that the ib's good cause my kidneys to rest. Then he opened my last lab report. It was like he was somewhere else! Stated he needed new labs from me! He then asked if there was anything else I said no, I expected to get something like my nurse will bring back the paper work for the lab. Nothing about lab work. But he had remembered the paper work for my parking. ? walked out and looked for him he was gone! This is the 2ed time I've had problems with this dr. That's enough for me! I'm going somewhere else! It sucks cause I live so close to the clinic!
