Corinne R. Espinoza, PhD

Dr. Corinne Espinoza received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University and completed her internship in Health Services Psychology at Boston Children’s Hospital through Harvard Medical School. Subsequently, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Primary Children’s Hospital. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics on the clinical track in the Department of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

Dr. Espinoza has specific interest and experience in behavioral health treatments for youth with chronic pain, autonomic dysfunction, including Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), and functional symptoms. Dr. Espinoza’s research interests include examining predictors of positive outcomes in youth with chronic pain and autonomic disorders. Dr. Espinoza has specific experience and training in working with individuals and families of diverse backgrounds and offers services in both Spanish and English. She is trained in a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, behavior therapy, biofeedback, clinical hypnosis, and mindfulness with a focus on improving functional outcomes and pain and chronic symptom management.
