Daniel was extreme professional and so knowledgeable! I felt as though he listened to my concerns and took that into consideration when discussing treatment options. He was very thorough and explained all possible risks and potential complications. He took an enormous amount of time with us to review my history and to go over my scans. Very professional and offered to contact the surgeon to meet with us since he was pretty certain this was the direction we weee headed in. Dr. Daly cane in and also spent a generous amount of time with us. I felt instantly reassured by this stellar team and I have full confidence in them. They were personable and were genuinely interested in my long term goals for regaining function and being able to resume my active lifestyle. I am beyond impressed with the consistent professionalism and expertise of everyone I've encountered this year at the U and it's been a busy one for me and my family!

Not happy with my outcome but the facility and staff were exceptional. I got more answers, clarity, and honesty from this provider than I'd gotten from a Surgeon who had performed multiple surgeries on me through a different provider at a different facility. But at least I now know what's going on.

He was very compassionate and discussed a "phased" approach to my condition. I give him the highest rating possible. He was far above other providers I have visited in SLC.

The nurse was very kind and helpful. Daniel Hovey is amazing. He has absolutely assisted me with this difficult situation with my back and broken ribs. He explains the x-rays very clearly to me and to my husband who comes with me. I appreciated his kindness and thoughtful explanations to me. He is GREAT. I am very blessed to have him as my medical person.

I've never had such good attention. I'm too used to providers that don't want to explalin anylthing - they're In too big a rush to get to the next patient and all the billings that follow for "not good medical attention and care". Untill now it has been quite disgusting.

I recently saw Daniel Hovey. He referred me to Huntsman Cancer Institute for a total body bone scan to assess me for metastatic bone cancer. I was also referred to Mountain Medical for a thoracic CT Scan to assess me for lung cancer. Hearing the news that doctors were concerned enough to order these scans was shocking and terrifying. I have four kids, I'm young and otherwise healthy. Upon leaving the visit with Daniel Hovey I was handed his card and told to call him Immediately after I was done with these tests. They said I wouldn't have to wait for results, he would be able to quickly review them and discuss them with me the same day. I had the CT Scan on [DATE REMOVED] and the Total Body Bone Scan on [DATE REMOVED]. I still have heard nothing from Daniel Hovey or from anyone is his office. I have called many times and left messages and have been told that someone will call me back to discuss the results, but these promises have been unfounded. I am able to see the results in MyChart, thank God. Things look ok as far as I can tell but I have no idea what the future plan is. I have no closure. I have only silence. These past few weeks, waiting to hear back from doctors on such critical tests, have been the most excrutiating weeks of my life and have taken an incredible toll on the lives of my family too. I think the way this has been handled is completely inappropriate, considering the severity of the tests ordered. Thank you so much for listening.

It was a life changing experience to fund Dr Hoovey. He is excellent. He is concerned about me and I trust him. That means everything to me!

Dr Daily's team, to include Daniel Hovey, shared their gift of repairing my spine defect. God is still working with me on the slow and at times painful nerve regeneration and physical healing. I'm blessed and pleased with the results to date.

Would like to speed up the process

I am having back surgery in less than two weeks. After leaving Daniel's office, I felt much better about the surgery. He softened any fears that I had about the surgery.

Dr. Hovey was excellent, listening to my concerns, explaining things I didn't understand, and generally helping me feel comfortable by providing knowledge and pleasant interaction.

I have experienced several office visits with Daniel. He is an amazing physician's assistant. It's surprising how he remembers all of the patients he deals with on a day to day basis. I have found him to be quite attentive to questions, and his answers are explained in easy to understand terminology. This is VERY rare in today's hurry you out of the office mentality. Daniel always takes the time to make sure you know how you are, and explain what needs to happen going forward. Again, This is very appreciated.
