  • Denise is a graduate of the University of Utah Physician Assistant Program. She is originally from Nampa, Idaho, and relocated to Utah to further pursue her education. She received her Bachelor of Science in an interdisciplinary study of human health and health care, then completed her training in physician assistant studies at the University of Utah.

    Before starting her career, she was a medical assistant, scribe, and interpreter for 11 years, working in multiple clinic settings and caring for patients. This experience led her to specialize in cardiology where she witnessed health disparities concerning cardiovascular health. She is passionate about educating patients on nutrition and working as a team to tailor the specific needs of her patients to improve the cardiovascular disease epidemic.

    She is excited to be part of the University of Utah’s Cardiovascular Department, where she aspires to shift her emphasis to cardiac care in Spanish-speaking communities and help diminish the language barriers within her local community.

    Ms. Robles, as always, was thorough through out the visit, explaining changes in the treatman plan and encouraged question, which she answered.
