    Dr. Hwang received her bachelor’s degree in physics from Princeton University, and her doctorate and medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. She went on to finish a two-year fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she performed lensectomy, vitrectomy, scleral buckles, lasers, and injections in infants, children, and adults.

    Doctor Hwang has been the best with Maizy, Dr. Hwang treats Maizy with kindness, compassion, respect, Dr. Hwang makes her feel at ease with her past surgeries, Dr. Hwang has even called us personally, Dr. Hwang is the BEST.
