Elizabeth S Bevis, APRN is really, really a great doctor. She has helped me with so many options of treatments for my gastroparesis. She understands my pain and truly works with me to make sure I am OK. We exchange notes on My Chart in between appointments. She has asked me to schedule more appointments with shorter durations between each which really helps as well. I love the fact that she is very sympathetic to my needs because it truly does hurt. I leave her office feeling so much relief and like a got a weight off of my shoulders and ready to try new options if needed. Thank you very much Elizabeth S Bevis, APRN.

Elizabeth S Bevis, APRN is very good at examining my needs. I have had gastroparesis for 12 years. Elizabeth has offered some new ways that will help me with the many complications that gastroparesis can affect my body. She also referred me to a nutritionist which is great to see if there are any new ways to eat. I like her very much. She really listens to me and is very willing to help me. Elizabeth Bevis is very good about listening to everything that is wrong with me and suggests solutions to help make them better. I have gastroparesis and she is very helpful with me understanding how it affects my health. I feel like I will finally get some help with this disease.
Elizabeth listened carefully to my issues and had obviously delved into past related procedures. We discussed a number of possible causes and fixes - starting with a motility test which would be followed by a more precise plan.

In both my visits (one realtime, one virtual) Ms Bevis seemed to be in a hurry and busy adjusting her attire and, as indicated before, not fully versed in whole body health. I recognize she is a specialist and good at recommending tests/procedures, but communications via MyHealth did not seem to be reviewed and awareness of potential for whole body contributions to this issue were minimal at best.
She was very engaging and explained in detail what we needed to know. She was great!

She showed genuine concern, listening to my issues and suggesting tests, meds, behavior modifications, etc. It was so good to converse with someone who knew what I had gone through in the two years I had experienced symptoms--some severe--from IBS (many before I even knew that's what I had).
I'd recommend except I know that this provider is booked out a while.

I myself am a doctorate level educated medical professional, so I have a decent amount of knowledge about medicine, and having 6 months to research and wait for this appointment and talk to colleagues, I had some things that I wanted to talk about, the provider was mainly interested in potential rudimentary issues that had already been ruled out through urgent care visits or general practitioner visits. When I would ask questions about potentially more complicated things, she would change the subject or say, lets look at these things first (referring to things I had already been seen for). Also the provider was quite rushed and you could tell she wanted to be done with the appointment and move on to the next.
I have been impressed by the staff at university hospital.
She is very thorough and listens to you.
She was amazing!!! She listened to me and discussed the options of what she could do, and was honest about what it meant.
Impossible to get a response from her or her staff through the portal and hold time was more than 20 minutes w/o resolution.
Everything was great. It is my practice not to make any recommendations regarding health care or financial matters. It's much less risky in today's environment with this practice.

Didn't know what we've tried in the past. Kept making recommendations we've already done. Is putting me on essentially the same treatment as last time that didn't work. The whole appointment lasted about five minutes. I waited longer than that to get in.

we discussed a change in meds which I thought was in the direction of a non-ppi medication, but she prescribed different ppi. We'll see how it works.

Didn't really seem to care with what was going on. Just kinda said this is what we're doing. Said she'd send me more information via MyChart but that never happened
She did a 30 appointment for a new patient (was scheduled for an hour). Did not have a follow-up. Just kind of turned me over to the other doctor. She was very good to talk about my prescriptions and when I explained the problem I had with filling them in the past, she told me to email her if I still had problems. I really appreciate that.

I am normally a bit dubious about meeting with anyone but my doctor. But this assistant was kind. professional, and genuinely concerned. She was a great help and a great comfort.

It was clear during my appointment that none of my test results that had been sent had been viewed prior to my visit. This was disappointing on so many levels. I had to provide results from my notebook I brought to the appointment because she wasnt sure what you had and what you didnt.

was very unprepared. had not looked at my chart at all. requested tests/procedures that were already completed and didnt even look at results. did not address or even act concerned at the issues presented. told me to change my diet. well no kidding any idiot knew that, and again not even reviewing medical records. all concerns went unanswered left more with more questions and concerns. still unable to swallow, have to cough to breath, and have a Bowel Movement more than 1 time per week. but hey seems unconcerned and have me a pill and left. waste of money, 4 hours of my time and for a specialist was totally unprofessional. my regular doctors are extremely more helpful and concerned and willing to address and help with all my issues and I waited 6 MONTHS for this lack of help was appalling.
