  • Dr. Knackstedt received her medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at the University of Utah, where she also served as Chief Resident. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and is the Medical Director of Transplant/Immunocompromised Infectious Diseases at Primary Children’s Hospital. Dr. Knackstedt’s clinical interests include infections in immunocompromised children, such as those with cancer or who have received transplants. She is interested in quality improvement and delivering value-based care to this special population. Dr. Knackstedt is also interested in the long-term care of children with HIV.
