Emilee Borgmeier, MD

  • Dr. Borgmeier is an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. She has subspecialty training in Perioperative Echocardiography from the University of Utah, and Perioperative Medicine from Vanderbilt University. She is currently the Medical Director of the Surgical Optimization Clinic at Huntsman Cancer Institute, and Associate Director of the University of Utah Preoperative Clinic. She practices in OB Anesthesia, as well as Transitional Pain and Acute Pain Medicine. She is passionate about quality improvement and improved patient care across the institution, and finds joy in teaching both residents and medical students. When not at the hospital, she can be found backpacking or trail running.
