this is my second visit with Erin. She is attentive and on this particular visit I had follow up questions. She listens carefully and helped me understand reasons behind some things I was concerned about.

I was treated very well. My only complaint that is not with Erin is that I had to wait 6 weeks to book this appointment in Stansbury after a problem was discovered. Follow-up testing and appointment has been scheduled.

Erin was great. I had previously seen another cardiologist outside of the University system and was told by him that I was wasting his time, that I was too young to be concerned about anything to do with my heart. I had had a bad experience with him, so was hesitant to go through it again. When Erin found out about it, not only was she empathetic and sympathetic, she was very kind, patient and understanding of my concerns and why. She made me feel very comfortable and had wonderful bed-side-manner. I'm grateful for her care and concern.

I was impressed that Erin had completed a review of my heart history. She was professional and caring and I was very happy with her plan for follow up. She took the time to listen to my heart and explain what she heard and how related to previous testing. she answered several questions which aided my understanding and reduced my concerns.

The PA who provided care was amazing. She spent the time to listened to my complicated health problems and answer questions about whether my medications and supplements for other concerns would affect my cardiovascular health. She gave useful information about additional things I may need to talk with my PCP about, she explained what referrals she was giving me and why, and she gave me suggestions for a home safety plan to use while I'm having mixed BP episodes (high systolic with dangerously low diastolic and rapid overall BP changes). I very much appreciated her willingness to listen thoughtfully and to help me build a safety plan for a complicated situation. I've been asking for help with some of these problems for 2.5 months, and many of the doctors I've seen have either refused to believe I'm having problems or have seemed angry that it's a complicated situation. I appreciated that she was both professional and caring and didn't see a complicated situation as too much, but instead told me what she was and wasn't able to help with in a friendly way and took the time to truly consider my situation and offer all the help she could. I left feeling much safer and very reassured that she had given me a safety plan. She was amazing, and because of her excellent care, I'm encouraging a family member with congestive heart failure to seek care at the Sugar House office.

Answering all of my many questions is an extremely important part of my office visits. Erin allowed me all the time I needed for my queries and that reinforces my belief that my care is a team effort between me and my doctor.

Erin is a keeper and a credit to the U of U hospital system. Not often a patient gets lucky to have a caring and trusted provider. Please retain her as my cardiologist.
I would recommend Erin Arhart to anyone. She is skillful in her discussions to help you understand what your diagnosis means and is concerned that you understand your new envirionment.
