Estefania grew up in Utah and worked for the Department of Neurosurgery for many years as a medical assistant and Spanish medical interpreter before going to Physician Assistant (PA) school. She graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine PA program in August 2021. She joined the Spine Division working with Dr. Marcus Mazur in November 2021.

Estefania’s clinic interests surround helping patients maximize conservative treatments or guiding patients through surgical intervention. She has special interest in helping Spanish speaking patient populations as a native speaker and certified interpreter.
