Gene Scerbo is a Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist within the Division of General Internal Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University Hospital. As an Internal Medicine Hospitalist, he enjoys taking care of hospitalized patients with a variety of acute medical problems. Gene's clinic interests include infectious disease, autoimmune disoders, and chronic respiratory conditions. He also acts as the department's provider liaison for Epic, the electronix medical record system at the University of Utah Hospital. Gene received his BSN and MSN from Florida Atlantic University. He served as a Nurse Practioner in the United States Air Force where he received a commendation while serving at an international location. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practioners and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
