    EvelynC. Loose, M.D. is a board-certified anesthesiologist who provides anesthesia for all types of elective and emergent surgical procedures. She is the former director of the Acute Pain Service at the University of Utah and has special expertise in the treatment of acute pain, ultrasound-guided Regional Anesthesia, and the medical management of complex pain patients. She is currently the lead physician in developing a transitional pain service in its early stages. Dr. Loose is also a long-standing member of the Anesthesia Liver Transplant team. She is board-certified in perioperative Echocardiography and is able to apply her knowledge in the acute setting of liver transplants and traumas. Dr. Loose has extensive experience in lecturing nationally and internationally on topics related to Acute Pain Medicine. Dr. Loose practices at the University Hospital, University Orthopedic Center, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and the Salt Lake City Veterans Administration Health System.
