My visit with Dr. Ellsworth was probably one of the best doctor visits I have ever had. He took time to listen to me. He reviewed my previous medical tests, going back over a decade to look for trends. He also gave me advice and clear steps moving forward. I know he was busy, but I felt like I was his only appointment that day.
He is a great doctor to work with.
During the consultation, I felt the evaluation was limited and rushed. Although the doctor was polite, I didn't feel my symptoms, persistent pain, or the impact on my work were considered holistically. The decision to discharge me was made without a clear explanation or a shared discussion about alternatives, risks, or a follow-up plan, even though I continue to experience discomfort documented by other specialists. I believe care could be improved by dedicating more time to listening to the patient, explaining the clinical reasoning, and making decisions together, especially in cases involving work-related injuries.
