I expected better because I had seen her before and she was very kind and sweet and first time. This time around, I didn't feel heard or seen at all. She was very dismissive of my feelings towards my own body which I know very well.
I fell like Ghaida had been my provider for decades. She knows what my life is like ( single, etc.) and how I need to be taking care of myself. My chronic issue doesn't seem as taxing as was because Ghaida makes it easy to manage. There is a a clinic closer to where I live, but see Ghaida because of the care she gives.

It always feels good to schedule and visit the health center because you know your problems will be solved or at least a plan is out in place to solve the problem.
Ghaida Jamal Al-Barzinji, PAC was very caring and helpful in regard to evaluating my symptoms, asking questions and determining the best treatment for my illness. She gave me helpful information for over the counter recommendations to treat my symptoms as well as a needed prescription. A day later, and I can feel a definite improvement from being down and out, I'm so grateful for her excellent care and treatment plan.

My primary doctor was an amazing doctor she explained everything in my visit to the maximum possible benefit me I feel so care by Ghaida. And the medicine she prescribed was very effective and helped me to get back on my normal routine. No back pain but headache or migraine get normal and usually get worse sometimes. Maybe I should schedule MRI or X-ray scan in the near future to see what is going on with my back and headache always bothering me a lot.

She was lovely and sweet, made me feel as if I was talking to a really good friend. It has been a long time I ever opened up to a doctor, so I feel that when I was talking to doctor Ghaida, it felt like I was talking to a friend. She did not make me feel out of the ordinary and made many things seem like its human health problem not like its uncomfortable to talk about it which I have not seen in many doctors throughout my life. She was able to provide me with immediate solutions and made me feel like I should not avoid this problem rather talk about it and let her know before the problem in my body starts to increase. I would definitely love to go back to her in order to get another checkup.

Dr. Ghaida Al Barazanji was very good and her stuff
She prescribed something I told her I had a bad reaction to previously. Didn't give me any other options. She went through my chart and said it wasn't on my list of previous medications and I said it was prescribed by my OB through St. Marks. She continued to prescribe it and even went as far as to say "I'm gonna start you on 5 MG since you've never taken this medication". If that doesn't say I'm not listening I don't know what does. This appointment was a huge waste of time.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a provider. She consistently dismissed my concerns and failed to listen or provide space to explain my medical history. I felt extremely invalidated, which I told her during the visit. Her tone was accusatory, dismissive, and made me feel like I was being reprimanded. She made faces and furrowed her brows throughout the appt. She did not give directions regarding how to take the new medication prescribed.

She was condescending, didn't listen to my concerns about my health problems, dismissed my questions and overall did not help me in the slightest for my initial concern of coming there. All I wanted is a simple blood test to test hormone levels and she made it sound like it was the most impossible thing imaginable. I will never come back to her again.
