He's reassuring and will either get to the root of the problem with as much ease as possible or refer you to a different physician if that is something that is warranted. While I enjoyed discussion with him, he seemed very hurried and I was unable to talk about a few problems that I have, like with my shoulder which is really bad and needs to be checked out. I'm a widowed mom of 4 kids. And I've been a healthcare professional for 20 years. I've been navigating my way through the education system trying to help two of my kids who are falling behind and not thriving. I held off on the medication route for a long time. Partially because of the stigma that goes along with stimulant medications. So when I finally decided I was desperate enough to go that route for my 2nd son after they worked for my 1st son, I made an appointment. Our regular provider is out on maternity leave, so we were scheduled with somebody else. Upon arriving I explained that my child had been tested by the school psychologist, an outside child psychologist and both those and his teacher agreed that medication management was a good next step. I had not thought to bring the paper reports from the psychologists. The doctor made me feel about 2 inches tall. He said things like "of course we would want those. These are a controlled substance" and "people come in all the time
This was my first visit with Dr. Cetton after the retirement of Dr. Anisman. He is certainly concerned about my health and I look forward to his continued care of and for me!
Dr Cetton was extremely thorough and attentive to my concerns even ones that weren't in original concern of appointment. Dr. Cetton made me feel valued as a patient and as a person and his concern helped solidify that feeling. Also all of Cetton's medical assistants have been friendly, attentive, caring and etc
I came in with concerns that have been going on for months. He wrote symptoms off and did very little "investigative" work to figure out what was going on. He was very dismissive and condescending.
He is the typical doctor that acts like every word out of the patient's (or parent's) mouth is wrong, ignorant, and unwelcome. He doesn't explain why or how he arrives at his conclusions of what Is needed or not needed. He does nothing useful for the patient/parents who have concerns. He is difficult to communicate and unpleasant to communicate with. For example, I said "It's hard to know what pain medication to give them if I don't know what kind of pain or what the problem is." He retorted with a snappy "If you were the one in pain, wouldn't you want medication?" He missed the point. He didn't address the concern, and he resulted in being extremely rude! We had to pry every tiny bit of information out of him by constant questions and pressure to explain and defend his conclusions. Aside from getting x-rays and referrals to specialists the time with him was difficult to endure and a complete waste of time!
Sometimes seems very quick and to the point without much time to talk about the risks, benefits, etc of care. Quick to jump to pills which may be the right course of action but not much of an alternative or explanation provided.

Dr. Cetton used to be really nice. He was mean and grouchy when he saw me this time. He was rough when checking my belly. He forgot to check my eyes and ears. He snapped at Mum when she tries to ask Dr. Cetton a question.

You guys have lost my Labs TWICE for STD testing! I took a urine sample you lost it , had to go back again. I just did a vaginal swab for yeast AND std testing , NEVER got my std results back AGAIN. Lost again ! So unprofessional. I asked Twice to be tested for STD in additional to yeast , doctor ordered for both tests. Never got my STD results back

I had so many issues to discuss that I felt some were glossed over.
Although I had one of the first appointments of the day, Dr. Cetton acted very rushed from the moment he walked in the room. He barely skimmed through the notes on my chart and assumed / stated things about my physical history that were completely inaccurate. I had several issues to discuss and received little to no attention about them. I would not recommend this doctor.

The doctor rushed through the appointment and spent less than 30 seconds discussing the reason I was there. He asked broad questions that I had already answered. He suggested an OTC medication that I had already told him I had tried without success. He came off as rushed, distracted, arrogant, and dismissive. He suggested a flu shot, a tetanus shot, and a colonoscopy, just as his assistant did a few minutes before, none of which I was there for nor needed or wanted. Needless to say I won't be back to this doctor nor would I recommend him.
Dr. Cetton really listened and was very concerned for me he gave me lots of options. He even changed an option through email.

Even if the medication is not a traditional one for women, he is still very on board & understanding about my issue & is open-minded. He seemed genuinely concerned about my health and was and made sure I was going to follow up with the scheduled test. He even told me to let him know if I could not get that test done in a timely manner and he would try to get it done quicker

Seemed like care provider was only interested in getting me on a prescription for something or to refer me to another care provider. He was amazed at how I lowered my bad LDL cholesterol 51 points (naturally with flax seed) from the year before without going on a prescription.
He was wonderful about referring me to the ENT clinic about my vertigo. Also wants to make sure that I am getting better.

I brought my son in for a birthday check-up. The doctor rushed through only the basics of checking ears and throat and looking at height/weight. He was looking at [NAME REMOVED] for a total of ten minutes. This lack of thoroughness and care was very disappointing.

I feel Dr Cetton is always in a hurry. I get full explanations if I ask questions. Otherwise, I do not. He is a good doctor and so far he has helped me manage health well, but not great. I feel that part of the reason is he is always rushed. Doctors should know their patients in order to be able to help them. He always asks me the same questions and congratulates me on my new job, which makes me think he does not remember our previous conversations. I am still patient as I do not like to change doctors, but I am not certain if we are a good match. I am sure he is a great doctor, but still weighing if he is good for me.
I went in to have my thyroid checked he mentioned it was my weight and my sodium. said let's run a whole check. knowing I am at my heaviest I said that's fine. but he never ran my thyroid test. maybe it is off from end of school year stress and family stress. I just would have rather make sure since I needed a new refill anyways.
Dr. Cetton is courteous, asks questions, and makes sure to look at you when listening. He is respectful and knowledgeable, and he really seems to care about his patients.

I am believe Dr. Cetton to be a good man however I will not return to him for services in the future due to a statement he made to me as I was trying to gather my thoughts regarding an inquiry on FMLA leave. After a few moments he looked at me and chided, "It's a pretty straightforward question [NAME REMOVED], what is impeding you from doing your job?" His comment and the manner in which it was delivered was deeply hurtful, made me feel embarrassed and made me feel as though he was angry for wasting his time. My issues at work are extremely mentally and emotionally overwhelming and in my efforts to explore FMLA options I had scheduled an appointment with him to determine if some time away from work would be a good option. it became clear that my physical ability to perform my work duties are intact and that I am therefore able to work. I briefly explained a few thoughts and feelings with Dr. Cetton about work. He always strives to portray care and empathy in our visits however as a patient it comes across in a superficial manner. I would presume that doctors are very busy each day and that the notes they chart must be accurate and detailed however I feel that my appointments with him (especially the last one) are often focused on typing and moving on to other patients or more pressing matters. I am uneasy sharing this comment as I know it may have a less than positive impact or impression upon your organization but when the text came through on my phone to share my experience and provide feedback it came as a welcome opportunity to share an insight that I hope can be used to improve healthcare (mental and/or emotional as well as physical). Dr.Cetton did offer social services options or adjusting my medications and such but it just came across in a manner that was cold and transactional. Regardless of this experience I am grateful for what I learned and know now regarding FMLA and also how expressing work related challenges that are not visible yet real requires a great deal of introspection and courage when reaching out for help. I do not desire to hold or harbor any unkind feelings toward Dr. Cetton based on my experience and apologize if my comment here portrays him in a less than ideal manner. As stated previously I believe him to be a good person. went in for long term pain and doctor just prescribed medication that had been prescribed before. I asked him regarding one of the issues I had and my concerns. He replied to me in a frustrating tone and talk to me like if I was a toddler. when I stayed in silence and just stared at him he tried to talk about what I asked normally again. but I that point I wanted to leave the office. I think it was a waste of time and money

Dr Cetton seems concerned over long term problems if treatment is not initiated. He has tried multiple lipid reducing therapies since I am unable to take commonly prescribed statins. Dr. Cetton always explains the risks and benefit of proposed treatments.
It was a good visit inasmuch as the doctor covered all important issues relevant to his department. He refrained from judgements or opinions in regard to care not under his direction.
