Hanna Nicol, DNP

Hanna Nicol is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in kidney and pancreas transplantation. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah in 2018. Before joining the transplant team, she spent more than six years as an endocrinology nurse practitioner, providing comprehensive care to patients with diabetes and related chronic conditions, including chronic kidney disease and hypertension.

She is committed to supporting transplant recipients throughout their lifelong journey, with a focus on preserving graft function, optimizing overall health, and enhancing quality of life. Her practice is centered on providing thoughtful, individualized care while empowering patients and their families through education and shared decision-making. She is equally devoted to the care and well-being of living donors, recognizing the unique needs of both donors and recipients. Through compassionate, evidence-based care, she strives to guide individuals and families through the complexities of transplantation while promoting long-term health and wellness.

She enjoys camping and traveling the world with her husband and children when she’s not working.
