Heather T. Keenan, MD, PhD, MPH

Dr. Keenan received her medical degree from McGill University Faculty of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at UCLA and her fellowship training in pediatric Critical Care at the University of Washington. Dr. Keenan also completed research training at the University of Washington (MPH) and the University of North Carolina (PhD epidemiology). Her first clinical position was at the University of North Carolina where she was in the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Social Medicine. Dr. Keenan joined the faculty of the University of Utah in 2003. She is currently an Professor in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care and in the Pediatric Research Enterprise. She has research interests in chid abuse and traumatic brain injury.
