There, she helps design and implement training programs aimed at improving access to surgical care in low-resource settings, including a surgical services management course and an international laparoscopic surgery training initiative.

    When she’s not working, Heidi enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, cooking, traveling, and being with her family, including her two sons.

    She was so kind and patient with us and our daughter. She gave great care to us all.

    I feel that she did not know how to interact with my daughter with special needs. We were there because my daughter is having to urinate frequently. She had to go during our visit, and the doctor was noticeably annoyed.
