The two surgeries were done without complications. I had excellent care by the surgical team. I was quite worried to have the procedures. Dr. Pitha was more than patient explaining pre-op what to expect, including the sharing of research publications about stent placements. Post-op care and follow-up was efficient. There was no waiting time. All my questions were answered. I would highly recommend Dr. Pitha.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Ian Pitha. I feel so fortunate that he transferred to the Moran at just the time I needed urgent care for my glaucoma. He is both personable and professional. I especially appreciate his common sense, down to earth approach to my care. Because of a frightening experience in childhood with surgery for strabismus my anxiety level was very high when faced with the need for surgery for glaucoma. Dr. Pitha helped me deal with my anxiety and has since successfully performed my surgery. He and his surgical team were there for me all the way and he continues to be supportive, helpful through my follow up care. He is a wonderful recent addition to the Moran Eye Center team. From a rating of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best I give him 10+++!
We feel fortunate in being able to transfer from Dr. Stagg to Dr. Pitha due to the physical move of Dr. Stagg to northern Utah. We feel we got the same consistent and qualified care in moving to Dr. Pitha.
