New American Services

Redwood Health Center is the primary care home to many former refugees. We proudly welcome newcomers from around the globe. Accessing health care can feel overwhelming and confusing at first, but we are here to help you.

We hope to create an efficient, culturally sensitive, and high-quality experience for all of our patients.

Medicaid and Marketplace Enrollment Support

Enrolling in medical insurance coverage is easy at Redwood Health Center. These three community based organizations help:

  1. Take Care Utah, which you can meet with every Tuesday from 9 am–1 2pm.
  2. Alliance Community Services, which you can meet with the first and third Wednesday of every month from 9 am–12 pm.
  3. Holy Cross Ministries, which you can meet with every Monday from 8 am–4 pm.

Patients are welcome to walk in to the center during any of these times for support, even if Redwood is not where you see your primary care providers. Representatives from these services are Medicaid, CHIP, and Marketplace experts. They can help patients with questions and enrollment.

These organizations reduce barriers to health access with advocacy and hands-on application assistance.
