Amazing, very caring, excellent provider
I found Dr. Gililland to be very straightforward and compassionate. I was very impressed with the whole team and how everyone knew their job and did an excellent job no matter what their specific job was. Dr. Gililland is an excellent surgeon. My left hip was replaced and here I am 6 weeks later feeling great and walking around like nothing ever happened. I am very impressed.
I was pretty nervous going in. My experience was great. They were calm and reassuring,. I talked w my older sister a couple days after, she will schedule here as her experience in St George wasn't as thorough or informative. Great experience.
Dr. Gillihand is an excellent doctor and surgeon. He's very busy. He knows what he's doing. I recommend just slowing down a little bit and have a good discussion with the patient if possible I know time might always not allow always make sure that you recommend a medication update as things change on a long-term or semi long-term patient
Very affable and technically superb
Professional, compassionate, and a truly remarkable orthopedic surgeon. We can not say enough good things about this doctor.
My circumstance is very unusual. Dr. Gililland has explored the diagnosis & treatments with a conservative approach that I have appreciated.
One of the best surgeons I know. My total hip replacement was a huge success, thanks to Dr. Gillilland and his team. The after care program is top notch. I felt like I was taken care of every step of the way, leaving no questions unanswered. I just reached my 1 year mark and feel like a new person.
He's wonderful!

Dr. Gilliand repaired my spiral fractured tibia and broken ankle a year ago and I'm back doing everything I was doing before the injury. I can't thank him enough for putting me back together and his kindness during a very difficult time. In my opinion he's the BEST there is.
Over the years since my hip replacement surgery by Dr. Gilliland, I have come to thoroughly respect his professionalism and expertise. I believe he ranks among the best Orthopedic Surgeons in the State of Utah, if not in the country.
Extreme professionalism and studious care and monitoring of outcomes practice wide. You feel that their practice is a large clinical program where they are constantly improving and developing the standard of care. Orthopedic needs? I would not go anywhere else. An amazing physician. I am so glad I was able to get an appointment with him.
Dr. Gilliland has provided me with a new chance at life. My hip and knee replacements were not typical, but his skill as a surgeon made both go smoothly. I am learning to walk and live again without chronic and debilitating pain. The after-surgery texts are so well timed, and are helpful to the recovery process. I recommend him highly.
Another orthopedic surgeon who I worked with previously to my contact with Dr. Gililland, commented to me and recommended him to me by saying that he was of the opinion that Dr. Gililland was the best orthopedic hip replacement doctor in the state of Utah and perhaps the country. Not having had the surgery yet with Dr. Gililland I have not had that personal experience yet. However, having met him and his team I can say with a lot of confidence that they look closely at your health and are very careful about ascertaining if you are healthy and fully prepared to have your hip surgery. I am impressed with what I have experienced so far.
Excellent bed side manner. Considered my opinion and needs in moving forward. Very respectful and considerate.

He replaced my Mother's hip after she broke it at 97. She went on to live another 3 years independently and to drive until 3 weeks before she died at 100. She was several boards, locally and nationally, and kept travelling until she was 98, thanks to the hip replacement. He has replaced both of my hips, and I can still walk 8 miles in one day when we travel. Normally, I walk 2-3.
I felt confidence and understanding from him.

Dr. Gillian's is clearly an expert in his field. I feel that my care is in excellent hands with him. However, I could tell that they were very busy and only had a few minutes to talk to me. I felt a bit like I was an object on an assembly line. There wasn't time to digest what I was being told and think of any meaningful questions. When I did ask a few questions, the response was to not worry about that now, they'll answer it closer to the surgery date.
I'm very fortunate to have Dr. Gilliland as my doctor.

Dr. GILILLAND KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING.
Dr. Gililland is the best doctor for replacing knees I have ever seen. My therapist was amazed at the condition of my knee replacement. I was in the hospital for a week after surgery (not related to my surgery) and when I was able to do therapy after a month, the knee was amazing and the bend better than when I finished therapy with a broken femur.
Dr. Gilliland is without doubt the best knee man west of the missippi!! He has saved my leg twice now! Once by his knowledge and skill as a surgeon and once by getting me to the best care for a bone infection I had!!

Waiting for a scheduled appointment for over 1:15 - 1:30 minutes is disrespectful and I missed other needed work meetings due to the time. He is absolutely amazing& has a wonder bed side manner!. Will take time to answer questions and explain to you in a way you understand.
Awesome
I felt very comfortable in the care of Dr. Gilliland. Absolutly the best surgical expierence that I could have hoped for!
Dr Gililland was very personable and kind and explained things very clearly. He was very impressed with my recovery. Much of my quick recovery was from the positive encouragement of the staff and Dr Gililland. The medical expertise of the doctors, P.A.'s, Nurses and all the OR staff all doing their jobs helped make my surgery a success. I believe the education and experience of Dr Gililland is a tribute to the Orthopedic Department.
Very caring physician. I felt understood.
Dr. Gililland inspires trust because of his team and his way of answering all questions about the procedure even before I could think of them.
very confident about upcoming surgery
One of a kind, second to none and comfortable to be around.
Very professional meeting, made me comfortable and confident in upcoming surgery

He seemed very intelligent in what was needed about my surgery
A greAt surgeon with great bedside manner
Dr. Gilliland is a very knowledgeable, conscientious, professional person and yet fun and genuinely caring. He has a great bedside manner. He also seems to be a perfectionist in his field of work and I feel he did his very best to get it absolutely right! I very much appreciate his ability to hear and address and correct my concerns.
Excellent medical care.
He is a great doctor
He treated my Mother when she was 97 when she broke her hip. He got her out of the hospital and home quickly to avoid any infections. She was up and living independently after 2 1/2 weeks of family staying with her. She ended up living another 3 years independently and driving until 3 weeks before she died.
I enjoy working with someone Who knows what they are doing.
Dr. Gilliland is wonderful and I trust him 100%.
Dr. Gililland carefully listened to my concerns and explained things to me clearly.
Very helpful
Great experience from my first evaluation through surgery and excellent follow up with Dr. Gilliland and his team. I was impressed with the level of testing to evaluate my condition, the discussion of treatment options and surgical outcome. I especially valued the team approach from beginning to end; there is never a moment when you cannot reach out with a question. Prior to release from outpatient surgery, I met with members of the team including PT and again at each appointment. I highly recommend the daily texts providing inspiration and information to understand what to expect and where I was in the recovery process. The results of my partial knee replacement were excellent; I was cleared to resume activities and played golf at 6 weeks to the day and went skiing at 6 weeks + 3 days. It helped that I came into surgery with 43 days of skiing, my legs were strong and I was in great physical shape.
Dr Gilliland is an excellent surgeon and cares about his patients!!
Please see my written response on the first page--He is AWESOME! and surgically performed a miracle. Thank you
I felt like Dr Gililand gave me an honest evaluation about my hip. He was very kind and listened to my concerns.
Took the time to listen and look for solutions or next steps to concerns.
A little too strong in oexplaining things and his responses to me
He listened and looked at and talked to me and my wife. He was very concerned every time I had problems with my hip.
Dr. Gilliland is just the best. He fully explained what would be happening. It feels like a team effort that includes the nurses, the operative team, the physical therapists. I am grateful for having my mobility restored.
Dr. Gililland took the time to understand my complicated situation. He was very understanding of my situation and gave me the best options for my specific situation. He was very personable and I felt very comfortable asking questions and voicing my concerns.
He did a fantastic job fixing my knee it works great now.
Dr Gililland was very concerned that I get the best help possible. I struggled with my range of motion. We extended my physical therapy and I was able to get excellent results!
An excellent doctor and caring person!
Efficient, Great outcome,
He is clearly excellent and knowledgeable. Problem is long wait for surgery
This will be my 3rd surgery by Dr. Gililland, I trust him and I know he has my best interests.
He explained what needed to be done but also presented pros and cons
I felt very comfortable with his suggestions and his expertise. I know Im in good hands with his talent. Looking forward to a positive outcome.
Great physician.
Dr. Gilliland performed my total hip replacement one year ago. My results have been so much better than I anticipated and now I have my active life back! Thank you!!
Dr, Gilliland is one of my favorite doctors. The first time I met him he made me feel at ease and I was important. I would definitely recommend him to anyone I know.
Just a great guy. He is so confident in his work - and he explains everything.
Cant say enough good things, knowledgeable and did a great job on my knee replacement, in less than a year Inwas back at full strength, agility and had no issues
In general I dont like doctors, but I liked Dr Gililland
Dr. Gilliland was honestly concerned about how I was feeling and what was going on with my knee, and even asked after my Mom and how she was doing with her knee.
Dr. Gililland is a professional, caring orthopedic surgeon who spoke to me directly so I knew what to expect and worked with me to achieve the best outcome.
He wasnt present, but info from nurse and pt was good
Very professional, caring, a great leader to his team. I found him by asking physical therapist whose patients recover the fastest. His name came up 3 times. I made the right choice. You need to keep him around. Dont let him go anywhere else.
Dr Gilliland takes his position as a surgeon with the utmost care regarding surgical skills and team work as well as care of the patient. He is a gifted surgeon who runs a tight professional team with high standards and he extends himself to genuinely ensure trust with his patient regarding their care and service.
I understand that knee-replacement is pretty much a mechanized process without much room for deviation from procedure. However, my relationship is with the staff. My friend just had her knee done at TOSH, and her surgeon spoke with her following the procedure. I had a good visit from the P.A. but she couldn't tell me much about my specific operation. She just knew it had gone well.
Very caring
Very caring and professional
My first appointment with Dr Gililland set a very high bar for all Drs who come after him. He did not rush and took the time to answer all of my questions while adding additional information I didnt think of. He is so kind, patient, and his staff is just as great.
He is wonderful
Dr. Gilliland, Laura and Cheryse (sp?) were incredibly dedicated to my wellbeing both on a personal and professional level. It is difficult for me to express my gratitude to them in mere words. We have been on a challenging journey together and because of them I will regain full use of my right knee and lower leg. I am unable to adequately express my gratitude. Linda Ashton
Dr G operated on my right knee, oh he is talented. Great healing and outcome. My left knee now needs a partial joint also. I soooo recommend him. Dr G is caring, he answers my questions and I do not rushed. I feel fortunate that he is my surgeon.
My knee revision is amazing 0 pain!
Basically I owe my quality of life to Dr. Gilly - he and PA Laura Woods are just great and care deeply about the quality of life for their patients!!
Caring, professional
Great individual! Detail oriented/perfectionist! Empathetic! I only wish surgeons in general would start calling their patients by name!
Mi experiencia fue muy buena, la atencin que recib de parte del Dr Gililland fue muy buena y tambin la de su personal.
I have full confidence in Dr Gillilands abilities and decisions
Is very confident in his abilities which in turn gave me confidence in his abilities. I trusted his technique and advice and put my health in his hands. Excellent experience from start to finish.
Dr. Gililland and his assisting Fellow, Patrick, patiently explained to me why I needed a knee replacement, showed me my X-rays, and let my handle a sample if the device that would replaced my failing knee. They gave me a choice between partial and total knee replacement. I chose TKR, which they installed in an outpatient procedure. They used the highly rated Stryker device which, at the six-week checkup remained firmly in place and a perfect fit with my knee anatomy. I am extremely grateful to Dr Gililland, his team, and the U Health Orthopaedic Center for their excellent care. Please see my comment above for more details.
Tha best experience Ive ever had.
I recommend Dr. Gillian to anybody how will listen pretty much! He is so awesome brilliant at his field again along with his assistance which she's bad to the bone as well way to go team!!!
I did labs and attended Joint Academy - I think the Knee Replacement team and Dr. Gililland do a great job.
He is such a kind and caring doctor. Listened to me and never seemed rushed. One of the best medical experiences of my life.
I highly recommend Dr. Gilliland and am looking forward to having my hip surgery in May.
Very good Doctor.
He is a genuine, caring and brilliant surgeon!
excellent surgeon, a great team,
Just cant say enough good things about the University of Utah Hospital and the Orthopedic program and especially Dr. Gilliland and his ability.
I will not see her again
Met all my needs and expectations.
I have had eight surgeries on this knee. I have never felt as satisfied with a surgery until now. I had less pain the day after the surgery than the day before the surgery.
the dr. explained things about my wifes condition in a way that we could understand. what her options were, and what to expect from surgery, he and his staff were very professional and caring
Quite often the doctor is running late. I have a difficult condition to treat--I expected innovation, effort, and even risk-taking to find a medical solution--from this teaching hospital. The only answer I got was 'I tried to treat this before and the approach failed'. There didn't appear to be any effort put into looking at an alternative approach, so I'm sent home with strong pain meds and told to wait to see if this will heal on its own.
I was concerned about the fall on my knee. He explained every thing very clearly and answered questions too.
I saw the fellow

Dr R Gililland made CB me feel important as he evaluated my hip and back problem
I recommended Dr. Gililland to my husband's friend who needed a knee replacement, and Dr. Gililland performed his knee replacement ((happy w/outcome)
This was a yearly follow up appointment.
Good experience. Dr. Gililland explained he is experienced in hip revision surgeries and helped me to understand my medical problem.
Dr. Gilliland has been phenomenal, start to finish. Consistently, patient, empathetic, and knowledgeable. I never had any doubt he would do a great job for me.
Many thanks to Dr. Gililland and Dr. Kellam for their thoughtful and thorough approach. They exceeded my expectations. I have a thorny problem and I am glad to be their patient. They helped me understand what they can offer and were candid about surgical options.
Dr gilliland is amazing
I don't know which visit because there are no names but at U of U it has been great from all the doctors I see.
Dr. Gililland has fantastic interpersonal skills. He listens to the patient and makes sure that that all questions that the patient has about the procedure are clearly answered before the appointment ends.
I visited with the nurse assistant, PA, PT, and surgeon (all of them) during my visit. I left feeling that my concerns and questions had been resolved. A great visit.
Dr. Gililland is superb! I was pleased from my initial consultation through my surgery and follow up with his knowledge, skill and humanity in helping me with my concerns and issues. Can't say enough positively about him and his team!
All good
Dr. Gilliland and his team are fabulous. Concerned, caring, professional, thorough.
My experience with the doctor was excellent. He listened to my concerns and clearly explained what was going to happen.
Excellent interaction with all the care providers I met with.
They were the doctor and the nurse
I have great confidence in him
Always a great experience
Everyone we saw was very kind and helpful.
I appreciated the time the doctor took to talk through my issue and options.
Always the best from Dr and PA.
Dr. Gilliland and his team are the best!! Hands down.
It's nice to actually have a PA & Doctor listen to what I had to say and my concerns
Excellent medical care
We have been impressed by the professionalism, efficiency and courtesy shown to us by the entire orthopaedic team.
Dr Gillilland is an amazing Ortho and I would definitely refer him !!!
Excellent job and good service very well and highly recommended
Dr. Gilliland and his team are simply the best at what they do, IMHO.
Great and extremely helpful doctors
Very satisfied.
Dr Guililland cleared my mind on an important concern explaining with detail for my understanding. Hip pain he share he feels is not from knee surgery but from my back so has for me referred his evaluation/clinical on to back surgeon. Helpful for me.
Spent time answering my questions. I really appreciated him taking the time to talk about my situation.
Excellent experience
Very good
Dr. Wood and Dr. Gililland are so great
Dr. G and his team were very thorough in their explanation of my situation. They are very professional and very friendly
Answered based upon Dr Gilliland himself.
Both PA and DOCTOR were Very attentive and professional
Whole team s excellent
I very much appreciated Dr. Gilliland's "fellow" and Dr. Gilliland himself. Both were active and responded directly to my questions and worked with my very effectively to address the current issues and plan for future treatments. The Fellow responded first, but once Dr. Gilliland came into the room, he was the "primary", but worked very effectively and in a teaching mode, with his fellow, both on my behalf.
GREAT - 1 yr check after Right knee replacement
The experience that was provided was great.
Good
Excellent
Dr. Gililland is an excellent surgeon. He did both surgeries for my total hip and total knee replacements. Each with excellent results.
Very kind and personable physician. He established rapport and trust easily. Very positive.
I have never had such a sincere caring doctor much less knowledgeable. If there was a higher score I would give it.
Dr. Gilligan's is AWESOME, along with his team!
I felt very relieved after meeting the Doctor and his assistants. And that's why I chose to get surgery at U of U. Even having to wait 3 months to have surgery because of how much I trusted the professionalism of Dr. Gillian's and his team.
Everyone that helped me that day was very kind and courteous and very explanatory
Dr Gilliland was great at explaining my progress. Laura Wood was very good at explaining everything.
Always provides excellent service
Everything related to the visit was done execeptionaly well and professional
I felt the remarks about the squamous cell carcinoma spots on my leg being a wrong diagnosis was not professional. I was not seeking treatment for that and each of the many spots has been biopsied before MOHS is performed.
GREAT
I will absolutely recommend Dr. Gilliland to anyone needing orthopedic care.
This was a very efficient, caring and helpful visit. I felt like the entire staff was there to support just me! Thank you all.
The Medical Team made for a very informative and confident experience.
Exceptional
I can't say enough good things about this team. They are awesome
Excellent physician
Dr G (female doctor) & Dr Guililand listened full attention & we were able to adequately discuss findings and treatment options
This was my first post-op appointment with Dr. Gililland after a total left knee replacement performed by him on Oct. 18. Dr. Gililland is a top-flight surgeon; he is professional, yet quite pleasant and empathetic. He did a partial right knee replacement a year and a half ago, and I have been very happy with the results. I have and will continue to recommend him and U of U for such procedures.
Dr. Gilliland was very approachable and answered all our questions. He didn't seem rushed.
On my six week follow-up visit, Dr. Laura Wood was excellent. Dr. Gililland is an amazing surgeon and provider. He did an fantastic job on my knee, I could not be happier with the results! The daily follow-up text messages were Informative, supportive, and helpful.
Explained every question
Always top notch
Good
Excellent
Laura PA and Dr. Gilliland we're excellent
Great physician AND the ortho fellow was also good.
Outstanding doctor and team. Dr. Gililland and his team gave me a new lease on life 5 years ago by replacing both arthritic hips. Always a pleasure to see Dr. Gililland.
My appointment was two hours late. It was a rushed conversation with a PA.
Helpful. Ideas 2 avoid hip pain.
I have great confidence in Dr. Gilliland
Good
I feel as if when additional problems have risen there was a slight degree of "not sure how to help you" and as a patient it is very difficult feeling passed off until it gets so bad the new situation cannot be ignored.
Dr. Gilliland checked my x-rays. There was no change. He told us to give it one more year. Then he said that if he had seen me from the beginning, he would not have replaced my knees and we would not be where we are now. That was not helpful. (We researched doctors in our area as thoroughly as we could. We checked ratings, spoke to patients, physical therapists, and other doctors. Each time, we trusted the surgeon. I did not chose to be disabled at 51.) I believe Dr Gilliland is a good doctor, but his frustration or irritation with my situation has clouded each visit we've had. It makes a difficult situation even harder. We will not be returning.
Good experience
Good
Dr. Gilliland asked questions that made me feel very comfortable making the decision to have surgery. My husband, who was there with me, reflected on his experience with a surgeon in another part of the country some years ago and recalled that he had a similar experience, and was very happy with the process and the result. I appreciate the sensitivity of this doctor, and the support of all of his team.
Dr. Gilliland provides stellar care. I felt confident that all my concerns were addressed. All questions were answered with care and respect. My hip health has improved dramatically under his guidance.
Dr Gililand team is great
Doctor Gillian listens and is very tender and always follows through with his patients I've had him for several surgeries always great
Very good
I've already recommended Dr. Gililland to friends and one had her hip surgery with him.
Dr Gilliiland is a true professional
Dr Guilland's Fellow, Dr Conner King, was exceptional in his analysis, assessment and explanation of my condition and the origin of my physical problem. What we thought to be a potential hip replacement (in my thoughts) was actually deemed to be a spine condition and Dr King referred me to a non operative pain specialist. Dr Guilland concurred and I now have an appointment with Dr Joyce of the Otthopedic Centet at The U. I have the highest regard for the staff at the Orthopedic Center and continue to recommend their expertise and excellent service.
Really pleased with how surgery turned out
No problems.
I've worked with Dr. Gillilland for a while, so we have an understanding. Mine is ongoing care.
Good
All questions were answered.
This doctor is amazing. Staff is so organized.
He is thorough and brilliant and really nice too :)

Dr. Gililand and his team have always done this and more. The BEST
always great people to work with
Great
He is my doctor and a friend and I hope he continues to help patients.
Dr. Gilliand and staff are the very best I have ever seen.
the doctor was good
Dr. Gililland is the best! I feel so privileged to have had him twice to revise my hips. Laura Wood and his MA are so awesome and caring.
my appointment was by video visiton and it cut off early, nobody re-entered the visit and I was left hanging with out the information I needed. I had questions I wanted to ask but I could not get back in touch with the Dr or the nurses. I think the phone system is frustrating to use. it took quit a bit of time to speak with the Dr's nurse.
I felt like I could make an informed decision after meeting with Dr Gilliland. Very professional.
much appreciated!
Dr wanted shocker/sock soon as possible but place referred can't get an appointment for almost 2months also :: Dr G.seemed too busy for one on one conversation
good
very professional and courteous
Dr. Gilliland is an amazing and caring surgeon. So lucky to have gotten him for my case.
I had a virtual meeting 1 week earlier that I missed do to the lateness of the physician. Do to the nature of my symptoms, he recommended to my wife (because I had to leave since he was over an hour late) that he should see me in person so he could put physically see me. During my appointment: 1. He didn't put me in shorts so he could examine my leg; he didn't even have my take off my shoes to assess standing leg length 2. He didn't do ANY physical exam a. no specific assessment b. no palpation c. no joint assessment d no muscular assessment 3. He didn't do a gait assessment 4. He didn't have a plan for my leg for the pain that existed other than "give it time" He did do a great job on telling me that he did a good job with the prosthetic placement(regardless of the mechanical problems I have not that I didn't have prior to the surgery) The difference to me between a virtual visit and a physical visit is 10 hours worth of driving, but the quality of services provided were no different.
great
Dr. Gilillan is great. Patient, professional and understanding.
all good!
I am a home health nurse who deals with joint replacement. So I knew what questions to ask.
I am happy with the outcome of my surgery but it was weird to come back and wait for such a long time for a quick check in to tell me that at the one year mark my X-rays looked good.
victor, the resident was very good and Dr. Gilillland provided additional information
Dr. Gililland and his Resident did not make me feel rushed and took the time to explain everything I needed to know and helped me understand all my questions.
He gives sound advice but does not push treatment upon you....he listens very well and explains everything very well
I had 2 previous NP consult was not impressed. Dr. Kilillian took time to explain everything in detail and showed the x-rays etc. very impressed would recommend everyone to him.
I will so recommend this group to anyone in need of surgery
Dr. Gililland has always been a patient-oriented, professional and kind provider who knows his "stuff".
very happy with the help and information given.
Dr. Guililand and his staff are exceptional. I always feel so well cared for with this team. Their willingness to listen and their responsiveness is above and beyond expectations.
Excellent Customer Service
I felt like like I was genuinely listened to and respected
I knew exactly what the surgery entailed and then I was more relaxed
I very much appreciate the prompt, courteous service I receive at the orthopaedic center. I always have a positive experience.
The team worked well together !!!!! Doctor Gililland is the BEST !!!! I am so THANKFUL for his KINDNESS & CONCERN about me & my joints !!!!!
very impressed with Dr Gillilland and his ability to explain. I was particularly impressed with his resident, he made me feel very comfortable and was very knowledgeable.
Had 2 providers: doctor and resident or asst. Both were very competent, understandable and responsive.
Fellow and Dr. Gilliland were both complete excellent history takers examiners and thoughtful in their explanation

Dr. Gilliland spent more time than I expected discussing my problem. I have huge respect for him and his team and am grateful to them.

a lot of information given & given rapidly kind of made me feel pushed & confused, needs to slow down.
Dr. Gililland and his team are absolutely fantastic. I am no longer in pain because of their skills and professional approach to my care. They have helped me literally every step of the way. They are my heroes.
explanation about my possible surgery were so thorough, and put my mind at ease
great dr and staff
Dr. Jeremy Gilliland was very good and helpful and he listened to me.
good
Dr Gililland and his staff are terrific.
I tell anyone who asks U Utah is the best. place to go
I continue to be wowed by both Dr. Gililland and his PA, Laura Wood. Both participated in my virtual visit and, as always, they were fully present during their time with me. I give them both my highest scores and my deepest gratitude and appreciation.
I was extremely impressed by Dr.Gilliland and his staff.
it was very good experience
Had discussion about needing surgery and what I needed to do in regard to my A1C to accommodate surgery.
Dr Gilliland commitment to resolve this long term knee pain was and is much appreciated
good
He was very thorough and we discussed possible upcoming surgeries as well.
waiting for test results

Good
i would like a little more eval of status of knee. i.e. gait observation, flexion/extension measurement. discussion of endpoints of physical therapy
Dr was very well informed about my issues and gave excellent counsel about how we should proceed
Very kind and very easy to communicate with
Dr. Gililland's team is the best - they work in sync with each other esp. in the OR. The x-ray techs saw me first and followed COVID protocol - very good and ensured I understood what to do.
Dr Gilliland was exceptional in his willingness to listen to me and to take time to explain my alternatives. DON'T LOSE HIM
Always showed that they cared about you and your needs
given doctors information to 6 people.
Good experience
Dr Gililland listens and explains better than any doctor I've had before.
The doctor did not seem rushed and took the time to answer my questions and provided a clear explanation of t he status of my knee.
I have a complex problem and appreciate that Dr. G obviously has given it a lot of thought and I feel completely cared for by him and his team. Means a lot.
We have always received excellent care from University of Utah Health system.
I feel like my Doctor is getting tired of my problem and I seem to get inconsistent information. My Dr is very kind, but the frustration of my problem seems to show through my Doctor.
I can't speak highly enough of Dr Gililland! I really appreciate that he listens and collaborate with me over my concerns. I feel respected and heard. I value his professionalism, beside manner, and genuine human concern for me. My hip replacement has been great. I do have other concerns related to my accident that seem to persist despite the surgery. I appreciate Dr Gililland's advice and instructions on how to deal with those concerns. I have recommended him to my friends who are looking for an orthopedic surgeon.
I am very confident with this physician's knowledge and care. It was a totally positive experience.
