She is excellent . I could not imagine a better physician to care of me.I have complete confidence in her abilities and appreciate her careful approach to figuring out the diagnosis and best treatment options.
Such and enthusiastic and caring professional.
she is great
Dr. Stout gives me hope that we can find a solution to my health issues. Even though many of the tests have come back normal, I appreciate that she hasn't given up trying to improve my quality of life.
An absolute amazing Dr. She goes above and beyond in care giving
Again, an XCLNT Service (O_O)Highly Recommended (*_*)Thank you for starting replace the small boxes of Kleenex. These new Kleenex are great and they feel soft, Thanks (o)__(o)
I feel like she listened, was as educated as one can be on the subject of my complaint and she was just very relatable. I felt like she would be proactive in finding the answers I am seeking. She was pleasant and included my life partner in the discussions as well, he also learned some things that could relate to his own health issues.
Dr. Stout is always prepared and reviews the chart thoroughly before seeing the patient. She keeps great notes that help her remember important findings and explains them in detail She explains carefully which makes it easy to understand the diagnosis. She always presents options for treatment and future care and is very considerate and respectful of the patient's opinion and decision. She and her staff are efficient and work well to get things done. The only negative about Dr. Stout and the University of Utah health system in general is the difficulty in getting an appointment.
Dr, Stout is the most amazing Doctor and person. Her care has made my life so much better.
I have Refractory Celiac and she came very highly recommended to deal with the difficulties that go along with my diagnosis. She is also one of the most caring doctors I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with .
Listened attentively, shared great information, and took the time to answer all my questions which I really appreciated.
I appreciate how Dr. Stout is patient led, that she gives me enough information to make an informed decision about my body and symptoms. I appreciate her genuine concern and treating my symptoms as a whole person. I respect her open-minded approach to a tricky situation.
Great.
Dr. Stout is an upstanding example of a physician that relates to and treats their patients as a whole person. She explains treatment options with assertiveness and enough detail that one feels confident in her treatment plan/options. And she's also confident enough to admit that she needs to do more research or consult with other colleagues so as to offer the most informed decisions. The U is extremely lucky to have her as part of their care team.
Dr. Stout provided exceptional care throughout our visit. I greatly appreciate her personable approach to healthcare, and felt like she was compassionate about what I'm going through. She made sure everything was well explained, and I felt like she cares about my personal journey with this new diagnosis. She was also very judicious about the labs that she wanted to have drawn, and other tests. She was ensuring that every box was being checked, but not having anything checked just to check it. The appointment at the GI clinic was the type of appointment you hope to have, and the kind you wish for your loved ones, and all who are in need of healthcare. I've been having such a tough time with so many questions, and after this visit I feel like I have realistic, yet also immense hope, and what I need to move forward in the right direction.
Dr. Stout was very knowledgeable, kind, and answered all of my questions.
Knowing I have a complex case along with a complicated situation for managing it, and may be one of the first patients in a similar reality the U has taken, I am incredibly grateful Dr. Stout has continued to work with me and navigate all the hurdles we have both faced-- and continued to strive for a better situation and reality for me too. I feel very lucky to have her and her care, as well as her focus on continuing her education AND learning through patient cases and experiences-- it's really clear it has already made great improvements for the U and not all providers would be willing to do this, so I am immensely grateful to have her on my team and helping to lead this care!
Excellent dr!
Dr. Stout completely impressed me with her willingness to familiarize herself with my health record before she even saw me and to hit the ground running when we met. She was patient in our dialog and seemed to care that I have the best outcome. She seems very knowledgeable in all the areas of my concern and had options to share and included me in my care. I feel very blessed to have her a part of my care team!
She's a good doctor and she knows what she's doing and she gets to the point and I would refer her to anybody all the time
A doctor who listens and cares.
Wonderfully informed and compassionate care for celiac and IBS.
Dr. Stout has been amazing from the first day I met her. She is the guest GI doctor that has listened to me. I appreciate her involving me in every decision. She didn't just throw meds at me. She is doing testing before making any big decisions.

She is one of the most caring and dedicated doctors . In forty years she is the only GI doctor who has taken my problems seriously.
Dr. Stout is an amazing doctor. Explains everything clearly and why she thinks it's best to look at the options she went over.
Virtual visit was a very good and informative experience,
She explained everything in details about my condition. I had my daughter with me and Dr stout included her.
Very thorough in treating me as well as explaining my problems in an understandable way. Easy to contact with any questions I may have. Makes me feel important and cared about as her patient.
After forty years of severe G.I problems Dr Stout has taken the time to resolve and has taken the time to educate me on my disease. My life has changed because of her.
Dr. Stout was clear, kind, and so knowledgeable! She helped me feel much less overwhelmed with my recent celiac diagnosis, and I can tell she really cares about her patients.
Dr Stout is extremely knowledgeable about refractory Celiac disease.
Dr. Stout is the best G. I. Docter I have every taken care of me.
I will continue with a follow-up
The only negative thing about Dr. Stout is the difficulty in getting an appointment. But it is always worth the wait. She is always prepared and remembers even the tiniest details. She is always willing to consult with others in order to get the appropriate imaging, testing, diagnoses, and if necessary, referral. She truly listens and considers my concerns and medical history. She incorporates my suggestions as best as possible. Most of my other providers have already given up but she continues to try and do anything to help. She is truly one of a kind.
She was so incredibly wonderful! I just love her!!
I left feeling my health mattered to her. Mostly, I felt respected and my concerns were taken care of.
Dr. Stout has my utmost of respect and trust as she is helping me battle a difficult long-term problem by doing her research and having many options to try. Every visit she is very well prepared knowing everything that has transpired with other doctors and tests, not of her request. She is a good listener. I cannot say enough about the great care she provides. Our visits are detailed. I never feel rushed, allowing me to explore symptoms and treatments. A+
She is the best. Listens, cares, plans and follows through.
Excellent Dr!
