I was very despondent the day I went in and said something. Thankfully the PA left ( he and I don't get along very well. In the past he has put me in a box with other patients with the same problem I have; and I feel he is passing judgement every time I go in). Dr. Groundland stayed and listened and let me express how I was feeling.He was very kind and compassionate with and towards me. He made sure I met with the Social Worker before I left. I really appreciated that.
I still do not know my plan yet. I'm calling in the morning. I thought the team was going to call me.

They jumped to conclusions without hearing me out. When I did tell them of my concerns, they poo-pooed me and said okay, well do an MRI.

Dr. Groundland put [NAMR REMOVEED] at ease and was very thorough in explaining what the problem could be and why he could rule out certain possibilities. He could see what our referring doctor saw on the images and although he also concluded it was most likely inflammation, he offered a steroid injection for the pain and referred [NAME REMOVED] to physical therapy for pain management also.

Even though Dr. Groundland was not the specialist our son needed (he needed a hand and elbow specialist) he still took the time to sit with us look at the X-rays and explain our sons condition in a very clear, easy to understand way. I can't help but wonder if there is additional concerns not being addressed because of the current situation that happened. I know he has referred me to plastic surgery to get a validation of everything and I am hoping that's just it and nothing more. I don't feel so confident about it this time.

I had gone into the 3A clinic thinking I had a tumor and came out with not having one that was malignant. I sense of relief and even tho he is a surgeon he provided the answers to a completely different issue which I will forever be thankful for. His kindness and his PA were amazing and I wish all my regular drs were as amazing as them!!
He likes to be thorough, so looks at all possibilities, then eliminates the ones that are not the case. I was very comfortable and felt lie he really wanted the best thing for me.
