Julia Klein, RN, MSN, FNP-C, MSCN is a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in the Neuro-immunology division in the Department of Neurology. She started her career at the University of Utah in 1985 as a registered nurse, prior to receiving her Master’s degree in Nursing and FNP license in 1991. Julia provides direct care for those with various neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Neurological autoimmune conditions, autonomic conditions and disorders of headache.

I have been seeing Julia Klein for 20years. In that 20 years my insurance has changed several times. The UofU isnt covered right now but I refuse to change doctors because she has been such a wonderful doc. I look forward to our visits.

I absolutely loved dr Klein the last time I went to her office. I finally felt listened to and heard. She took her time with me, and gave some possible ideas that could help. Talked with me. Made me feel like I wasn't alone. This appt was the exact opposite. She didn't listen at all. She didn't even give me a physical exam. I wait 6 months to be seen by neuro, and they don't address my issues or give me an exam?! That's wrong. She minimized what I was saying. She laughed off my confusion and how scared I was, saying "aren't we all a little forgetful like that". I was just dismissed. I left the appointment broken. I was crying when I left, and I will be finding someone else to see. I NEVER thought I would be writing a review like this, but someone needs to know. Having a tumor and being a neuro patient is scary and life-changing. She acted like I was just another number on her schedule. It was very disappointing.

My wife and I saw her together and we didn't feel rushed at all. She answered any of our questions and was very thorough. Her bedside manner is awesome. She asked me if I wanted to have her be my "MS" provider and I couldn't say YES fast enough.
